The EFR-Activities Committee (AC) is one of EFR's most versatile committees. The activities committee of EFR organizes three events. The first event the AC organized this year was a lecture of Robert Swan. Robert Swan was the first man on earth who walked unassisted to both the North and the South Pole. He gave a lecture about environmental issues, leadership, and the possibilities for student to attend one of his missions to Antarctica.
The second event organized by the AC is the EenVandaag/EFR-Political debate, which will take place at Monday the 1st of March 2010. During this political debate the national chairmen of the promotion campaign of six largest political parties will come to Erasmus University to debate about the positions of their party on several issues. The debaters coming to the debate are (with reservation): Geert Wilders (PVV), Pieter van Geel (CDA), Mark Rutte (VVD), Mariëtte Hamer (PvdA), Alexander Pechtold (D66), Agnes Kant (SP). When you are interested in attending this political debate, you can buy your tickets from February the 15th on.
The third event the AC organizes is the EFR-Charity Game. The EFR-Charity Game is a three day business event taking place from May the 24th until May the 26th. During the EFR-Charity Game, students work on a case for a charity, while they are guided by professionals from prestigious top consultancy companies.
