About Willem Harting

My name is Willem Harting, and I'm EFR's Secretary / Vice-President. I'm responsible for all contact with EFR members as well as with other student associations in Rotterdam. All formal external communication goes through me as well. I'm also involved in the recruitment process of new committees and board members, which includes many aspects like promoting, interviewing, and selecting new active members.

About the Secretary Vice-President Function

Do you have excellent social en communicative skills, are you flexible, diplomatic and immune to stress? Do you have a strategic view, taking many considerations into account? Is multitasking one of your good qualities? Then you are the right person for Secretary / Vice-President! You'll be part of the staff of the EFR-Board, in which you'll be the right hand of the President. You'll replace the President when he is absent.

As a Secretary / Vice-President, you'll be responsible for all contact with the EFR members as well as with all associations in Rotterdam and besides you'll be in contact with EFR alumni and alumni of the Erasmus School of Economics by organizing several activities for them. You also assume all formal external communication.
You'll be responsible for the recruitment process of EFR committee- and board members, which includes many aspects like recruiting, selecting and hiring of new active members.

As a Secretary / Vice-President you are part of several agreements. You are chairman of the Convent of Study Associations consisting of AEclipse, EUREOS, FSR, In Duplo, Marketing Associatie EUR, Transito, and VRiSBI. You are also chairman of EIAF (EFR Internal Auditor Fund). This fund is set up to compensate a number of active members financially for a part of the time they invest in the project. Besides, you are responsible for the contact with all economic associations in the Netherlands.

Another important aspect of the content of this function is IT. You'll have the ability to use a very advanced database of which you'll be the super user.
