NIBC

NIBC Bank N.V.

Our history

Our firm was founded shortly after 1945. Our main task was to contribute to the rebuilding of our country, which had been hard hit in the war. Alongside a number of decisive, visionary entrepreneurs we embarked on the reconstruction of the Netherlands as we know it in the present day.

Our mentality

Today, entrepreneurs are still the driving force behind Dutch business and industry. And they still like to do business with an enterprising bank. NIBC is highly receptive to their ideas, provides the required expertise and has the innate ability to get things done. This mentality can be summarised in two words - Think Yes. These describe, in a nutshell, our way of thinking. Positive, results-oriented and solution-driven based on knowledge and experience. Our mentality also reflects our way of doing: proactive, energetic and resolute.

 Our customers

Advising our customers and helping them fulfill their ambitions is what we do and enjoy best. Over the years we have built up considerable expertise in the following industries: Food, Agri & Retail, General Industries, Infrastructure & Renewable Energy, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Shipping, Technology and Media & Services.

An enterprising, international bank

Today we are an international bank that supports enterprises when it matters the most. In an effective and customer-oriented manner. We are a bank that thinks like entrepreneurs. A bank that acts like entrepreneurs.
