Can you help build Shell’s HR function for the 21st century?
 You may think you know Shell for its retail stations. However, with operations in 110 countries and a diverse activity portfolio, you could not expect challenges and prospects to get any bigger – or more far-reaching.

Learning and Development Advisor, Pernis
Start Date: Available ASAP Application deadline: 27th February 2009

As an advisor working in the biggest refinery manufacturing company in Europe, you will work within a team to review, design, develop and implement strategic initiatives and training schemes across a population of 2200 people

You will work with a number of stakeholders from line managers, HR advisors, Shell’s central Learning organisation and external parties in order to implement and align the learning strategies with global standards. The broad business exposure will provide a wide range of opportunities for next assignments: from specialist areas such as Remuneration and Benefits and Talent Management to HR advisory roles within a specific business.

 

We are looking for:
A Masters Degree in HR or related subject such as Psychology, Social Sciences, International Relations, Communications or similar;
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to link HR into the wider business picture
Strong team player, effective in working across cultures. Fluency in Dutch is essential for this role. Previous work experience or education in the field is preferable but not essential.
