EFR-Business Week

The EFR-Business Week is one of the most professional and prestigious student organized conferences in Europe. Every year around April, the EFR-Business Week takes place at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and other locations around the Netherlands and Europe. Organized by a committee of six students from EFR, the EFR-Business Week has proven to be the highlight of the year at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and continues to bring in the most prominent global citizens.

This years EFR-Business Week was the most inspiring week we organized and we are looking for students to make next year's EFR-Business Week an even greater success!

Chairman

As the chairman of the EFR-Business Week you maintain an helicopter-view over the committee and make sure that everyone remains on track. You are the face of the committee and keep close contact with the Activities Officer of the EFR-Board. Besides that, you are also the treasurer of the committee and you keep track of the revenues and expenses of the committee.

Commissioner Conference Day

As the commissioner Conference Day you are responsible for the interactive day within the EFR-Business Week. On this day a platform will be created where CEOs, politicians, sport stars and entrepreneurs interact with students. A yearly occuring part is the Round Table Conversations, in which students get the chance to debate with CEOs, politicians, sport stars and entrepreneurs. This year, the Battle was reintroduced, where different teams strive to become the best debater. As the commissioner Conference Day there are much opportunities to create an even more challenging event than this year.

Commissioner Company Days

The commissioner Company Days is in charge of organizing the Company Days, a two-day event where students have the chance to experience a company by means of an inhouse day. As the commissioner Company Days you keep close contact with companies and make sure that the student’s demand regarding career is constantly matched with the company’s demand regarding recruitment.

Commercial Officer

The Commercial Officer is responsible for the contact with the companies. Together with the Commercial Officer of the EFR-Board you are in close contact with already existing partners, but you also enter into new partnerships. You make sure that enough budget is created to offer the day commissioners more opportunities to organize more exiting days.

Marketing Officer

As the Marketing Officer you develop the marketing strategy of the EFR-Business Week. Where the commissioners of the different days make the programme of their day, you make sure that the programmes are shown in the perfect layout and that they are well presented during the promotion period. During this period your work is presented and together with your team you make sure that as many people as possible attend the different days and that the EFR-Business Week becomes an even greater event!

Commissioner Opening Day

The commissioner Opening Day is responsible for the first day of the EFR-Business Week, the Opening Day. On this day globally known guest speakers will entertain an aula full of students. In line with the theme, guests are invited to share their experiences. As the commissioner Opening Day you decide who is invited and make sure that the start of the EFR-Business Week is even better than the year before.
