Send your C.V. and a short motivation to firstname.lastname@example.org
It'd help if you could put the committee(s) you are interested in joining in the subject line!
Don't worry! Your C.V. is not so important yet as it will be in a few years!
Right now the C.V. is a good way for us to keep track of the people applying for our committees. It's also handy for taking notes on during the interview!
Some committees (specifically the full-time committees) do require some experience. But don't fret if your C.V. doesn't look too great yet! In fact, EFR is there to help you fix that!
The EFR Involve project is one of EFR’s unique projects. In the project students will apply their academic knowledge to make sustainable impact in communities that need it most. This will be done in collaboration with a partner, an NGO or Social Enterprise that will guide and assist in setting up the research. This project consists of four months of desk research and three to four weeks of field research on location, this will be done by a group of around 20 students. Previous projects have been to Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
As the EFR Involve committee you will have the challenging task to set up this unique project from scratch. You will be searching for a partner, drafting the research, maintaining contact with the university, recruiting the student researchers, arranging the trip and participating in the desk and field research itself.
Needless to say, the EFR Involve committee is one of EFR’s most challenging and demanding committees and open for ambitious second year, third year or master students searching for a unique opportunity to organise a large project and participate in research. Students willing to apply must make sure to have no other plans during the field research in July/August.
