Arjan van Amerongen

Hi All! My name is Arjan van Amerongen and this year I will be the Bachelor Officer of the 59th board. I was born 23 years ago in a small village between Amsterdam and Utrecht called Wilnis. I really enjoy cooking, reading and discovering new places. This spring, when the end of my bachelor was rapidly approaching I decided to do a board year at EFR. I had been in the Eurekaweek Committee before and at the time was involved in the National Consultancy Competition and wanted to further develop myself besides my studies.

As Bachelor Officer I supervise six part-time committees that organise events and trips mainly meant for bachelor students. They range from the START committee that organises social events for bachelor 1 students and the Ski Trip Committee to the Activities committee that organises multiple bigger events and a citytrip. Besides that I am also overseeing our summary project and the booksale.

I look forward to working with all our amazing committee members and fellow board members in organising all of these events for students. You can always contact me if you have any questions or just come by our office for a “koffietje”.
