Fleur Bruijnzeels

Hi! My name is Fleur Bruijnzeels and I am the Marketing Officer of the 57th EFR board. I am 21 years old and I grew up in Wassenaar. In my spare time I like to play sports, hang out with friends or watch series. I moved to Rotterdam three years ago to study IBEB and during my first year, I decided to become a member of EFR and join the IBEB committee. It was a very fun experience to organise events for my fellow IBEB’ers, such as a pubcrawl and a beercantus. In my second year, I joined Laurentius and I joined the StudyTrip committee of EFR. During that year, I organised a trip to Vietnam where 30 students participated. In my final year, I joined the Involve Consultancy Committee, where we organised a research project together with African Parks. We were supposed to go to Malawi to finish our research, unfortunately Corona got in the way. After three years of being an active member, I wasn’t done yet, so I decided to do a full time board year at EFR.

My responsibility, as the Marketing Officer, is to maintain EFR as the strong brand it is. Because of that, I am involved with almost every project we have and I have a lot of meetings with different stakeholders within and outside of EFR. On the other hand, I am supervising 3 committees: the START committee which organises events for first year students, the Marketing committee which creates a lot of tools for marketing purposes and the almanac committee. Besides that, I work together with the Marketing Officers from ER and the MCW to brainstorm about their marketing strategies. As a Marketing Officer, I learn a lot of hard skills like various Adobe programmes and designing skills besides the soft skills you learn as a board member.

If you have any questions or want to know more about my position or about EFR, don’t hesitate to contact me or come by our office for a cup of coffee!
