Kinshuk Taneja

Hi all, my name in Kinshuk Taneja and I will be the IT & Strategy Officer of the 60th EFR Board. I am 21 years old and grew up in India for the first 11 years of my life, since 2013 I have lived in The Netherlands. I went to high school in Hilversum, then coming over to Rotterdam for my bachelor’s in economics and business economics. In my free time, I like to cook, hang out with my friends and play sports like squash and golf. I’m also a massive fan of movies and tv shows, especially if they also have to do with cooking or sports.

My EFR journey began in my second year of IBEB with the MUN Committee, where we organized MUNROT 2021 along with the 58th Board. The committee provided me with the perfect balance of responsibility and social activities, in making friends that I still consider close. With my third year, I originally went to exchange to Hong Kong and joined the Data Consulting committee when I came back to Rotterdam in January. This began my first taste of what I’m going to be doing for the rest of the year within the 60th Board.

As the IT & Strategy Officer, I am responsible for all the IT systems that EFR uses, everything from password managers to our website, where everyone downloads the beloved summaries and books tickets to our exciting events. Alongside this, I will also be focused on all our flagship events from the strategy side, consulting on various stages of the events. It is also my responsibility to promote innovation and lead long-term strategic projects within the association, which I will be taking on throughout the year. I won’t be doing this alone however, this year I will also supervise the IBEB and Data Consulting committees, alongside the Data Officers of the Erasmus Recruitment Board and Master Career Week.
