Pien Kuijer

My name is Pien Kuijer and I am the Master Officer of the 59th EFR board. I am 22 years old and was raised in Oegstgeest, near Leiden. After high school I moved to Delft to study Architecture. After a while I realised the study was not really something for me. The year after, I started IBEB at Erasmus University. To kick-off my student days in Rotterdam, I decided to join the High Five committee at EFR. I enjoyed it so much that after this, I joined the Marketing Team and Inspiration Days committee. After doing 3 committees, I was still not fed up with EFR yet so I decided to pursue a board year.

As Master Officer, my main task is to supervise the full-time Master Career Week committee, the Involve consultancy committee and six Master Study Boards. The Master Career Week aims to connect students of Erasmus School of Economics to their future employers, by organizing an exclusive off-campus recruitment event with bootcamps specific to a certain branch. The Involve consultancy committee sets up a research project together with an NGO and in August, they conduct three weeks of field research abroad. The master study boards set up social and professional events for the students of their own masters.

In my free time, I enjoy playing sports with my fellow board members. Next to that, I love to cook and enjoy some drinks in the sun with my friends. I am looking forward to what this year is going to bring me. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me!
