Vere Lammers

Hi everyone! My name is Vere Lammers and I am the Marketing Officer of the 59th EFR board. I am 20 years old and grew up in a small village in the south of The Netherlands. In my spare time I like to try new recipes, have some drinks with friends and go for a run. I moved to Rotterdam three years ago to study Economics and Business economics and last year I also started studying Philosophy of Economics.

In my second year, I became a committee member of EFR when I joined the Move committee, where we organised a social project with primary school children. During my third year, I was part of the Inspiration Days committee, where I was responsible for the marketing. After these years, I could not get enough of EFR and I decided to go for a fulltime board year!

As the Marketing Officer, I am responsible for maintaining the strong EFR brand. That means that I am involved with almost every project we have and I have a lot of meetings with different stakeholders within and outside of EFR. Additionally, I am supervising the Marketing committee, which creates a lot of tools for marketing purposes and designs the almanac, the Content committee, which writes articles for the EFR blog, and together with Evelien I am supervising the Well-being committee, which focuses on improving the mental well-being of students. Besides that, I work together with the Marketing Officers from Erasmus Recruitment and the EFR Master Career Week to brainstorm about their marketing strategies. In my position, I learn a lot of hard skills like various Adobe programs and designing skills besides the soft skills you learn as a board member.
