guest lecture Iranian ambassador

In close cooperation with Erasmus School of Economics, EFR welcomes Iranian Ambassador Alireza Kazemi Abadi for a guest lecture on Tuesday 15 October 2019. As part of the Bachelor-2 International Economics course, Iranian Ambassador Alireza Kazemi Abadi will share his views on current economic topics, which is followed by a Q&A session with students.

As of May 2019, Dr. Kazemi Abadi is ambassador of the IR Iran to the Netherlands. Before this, he served his country as deputy head of the JCPOA (the “Iran Nuclear Deal”) implementation task force in the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Between 2010 and 2017, Dr. Kazemi Abadi served as Deputy Minister of Justice of Iran. He was head and member of the Iranian Delegations at several UN conferences and at the UN General Assembly. Dr. Kazemi Abadi holds two PhDs in Law, one from King’s College London, one from Shahid Beheshti University Tehran.
