EFR is proud to present the EFR Speaker Cycle: ‘Powerful Perspectives’. The aim of the Speaker Cycle is to let you critically reassess your point of view on today’s biggest challenges by connecting you with prominent speakers. They will explore the theme through an inspiring online lecture followed by a Q&A session.

We would like to announce the next speaker in the cycle: Bruno Bruins. Previously, Bruno Bruins served as chairman of the board of directors of UWV, as Mayor of Leidschendam-Voorburg and as State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science. But Bruins is best known for his period as Minister for Medical Care, in which he led the Dutch government’s fight against the coronavirus. Last march, after collapsing from exhaustion during a parliamentary debate on the epidemic, he voluntarily resigned as Minister. Since then, Bruins has recovered and is working as interim director of public transport company HTM. We are very happy that we can welcome him to EFR!

Bruno Bruins will walk us through his long and diverse career in both the public and private sector and tell us about his time leading the Dutch battle against COVID-19. He will teach us all about how public service can be of value in your career.

This seventh event of the cycle will take place on the tenth of december and will be held online and on campus.
