Are you a prospective IBEB student of the Erasmus School of Economics? Your student life starts now with the official IBEB Warming-Up! Make sure to get yourself a ticket and get to know your fellow freshmen before the start of the year!

EFR is the official study association of the Erasmus School of Economics. Each year the Erasmus School of Economics and EFR organise an introduction weekend for all prospective IBEB students of the new academic year. This year, we have come up with a corona alternative, which will be a hybrid of online and offline activities. That means you can participate even when you are not in Rotterdam yet! It will exist of three days of introductory activities, games and a dive into IBEB culture. We offer you the best opportunity to get to know your fellow freshmen, the iBuddies and the EFR organisation in an exciting atmosphere.

What to expect?
The Warming-Up are organised by EFR in collaboration with the Erasmus School of Economics. The EFR IBEB committee with help of the iBuddies, consisting of second- and third-year IBEB students, will introduce you to the student life of Rotterdam. All prospective first-year students of IBEB are invited to join, which means you will certainly get to enjoy a diverse experience of different cultures, and allows you to meet your fellow students.

The IBEB introduction activities will take place from August 27th to August 29th, right before the start of the academic year. On Thursday morning (August 27th) ESE will kick-off the programme with an educational program. In the afternoon, EFR will host a social programme on Zoom where you will get to know your fellow freshman quickly. Friday morning will be hosted by ESE again, where you will work on a case together. Friday afternoon will consist of a quiz, playing fun games via Zoom, and a virtual VrijMiBo (Dutch for friday afternoon drinks)! On Saturday we will explore the amazing city of Rotterdam in small groups with some challenges and a nice picknick.

You can join the IBEB Warming-Up for free. If you will not be in The Netherlands yet or do not feel comfortable with the offline event, you can also decide not to participate on Saturday. Please indicate this in the form.

Make sure to get your ticket fast as there are a limited amount of spots available! To sign up, you have to become an EFR member first for free. Afterwards, you can log in and register for the event.
